Sam Heughan & Tobias Menzies on Outlander (2014)

Leading men Sam Heughan and Tobias Menzies both found themselves shirtless once again on this week’s new episode of the STARZ period drama Outlander. Sam’s character, Jamie, is once again punished by public lashing. Of course, this requires Sam to shed his shirt. Tobias Menzies appears shirtless in a flashback sequence, which shows his character getting a shave. While I enjoy all of the shirtless moments from Sam Heughan on the series, I’m hoping for some scenes where the context isn’t so brutal.

Sam Heughan & Tobias Menzies on Outlander (2014)

The new STARZ period drama Outlander, has featured some male skin in the first few episodes. Episode 1 features Tobias Menzies in a love scene. Though the scene has female nudity from series star, Caitriona Balfe, Menzies is only shown shirtless with any nudity obscured. Episode 2 gets Sam Heughan out of his shirt for an extended portion of the episode as he’s treated for battle scars and retells the story of how he received them. Outlander tells the story of a combat nurse sent back in time from 1945 to 1743.
