The drama Jamie Marks is Dead brings together two of cable’s bright young stars, Cameron Monaghan (Shameless) and Noah Silver (Tyrant). The film takes place in a small town where outcast and often-bullied Jamie Marks (played by Silver) is found dead by his classmate, Gracie. In the wake of the discovery, cross-country star, Adam (played by Monaghan) becomes drawn to the scene of the apparent crime. Soon he and Gracie begin seeing Jamie’s ghost. As Jamie’s connection with Adam grows stronger, Adam becomes more disconnected to his not-so-happy life, despite a growing attraction to Gracie. Like his TV role, the film gets Cameron out of his clothes for an extended rear nude scene. Noah spends several scenes of the film wearing only tighty-whities. Cameron & Noah, both known for their roles as gay teens on their respective television series, play their roles in the film with some clear homoeroticism, adding to the film’s tension.
