Kevin Zegers went shirtless two episodes in a row on the FOX drama series, Gracepoint. Episode 6 of the series finds his character, journalist Owen Burke, in bed with fellow journalist Renee (series regular Jessica Lucas). While Owen tries not to wake her in his efforts to grab his laptop, he is unsuccessful. Here’s hoping that Kevin’s shirtless trend will continue next week.
Kevin Zegers stars on the new FOX drama, Gracepoint. The series centers on the events in a small town after the death of a young boy. The investigation into the murder makes waves amidst a media frenzy in the town, putting the boy’s family and the rest of the town into great turmoil. Kevin plays Owen on the series, and manages to get out of his shirt during last night’s fifth episode.
While not officially part of the blog’s 25 Days of Gays feature, in celebration of Kevin Zegers’ 30th birthday today, it’s the perfect day to look back at Kevin’s role in the Academy Award-nominated drama Transamerica. The film follows a pre-op transsexual played by Felicity Huffman, who finds himself on a journey with a young gay hustler, played by Zegers, after discovering that he is his son. Kevin threw himself into the role, appearing nude in several scenes of the film, even flashing a brief glimpse of frontal nudity.
