Debra Messing took her investigation into new territory in this week’s new episode of NBC’s The Mysteries of Laura. Messing’s character, Detective Laura Diamond hits up a strip club in Episode 8, looking for clues in her homicide case. Viewers are treated to several minutes of shirtless strippers during the sequence. Dan Puck guest stars as ‘Captain Silver’ one of the strippers who is revealed to have more in mind than collecting tips, which Laura catches onto during his lap dance. Edvin Ortega appears as Lyle, his accomplice in thievery, who works as a bus boy at the club.
