Bradley Cooper celebrates his 40th birthday today, making it the perfect time to look back at his first big screen role. Years before his Oscar-nominated performances, Bradley joined an ensemble cast in the 2001 comedy Wet Hot American Summer. Bradley played Ben, one of the camp counselors dealing with the end of Summer and resolving all of their unfinished issues before it all comes to an end. Ben’s character is gay and one of the film’s big skin scenes reveals that one of the other counselors, ladies man McKinley (played by Michael Ian Black) is also gay. The two engage in a brief sex scene, which gets both actors shirtless.
